Market Day
Reason 2 for this holiday plan ... Sedgefield Market, I mean really, who can drive through the Garden Route without planning to be in Sedgefield area on a Saturday morning. We did have to set an alarm though to make sure we woke up by 7am. The Farmer's Market side is only open 8am to noon, so you gotta get all your breakfast buys done early.
We had a quick look at the market goodies in the middle, then dashed to the "Little Wood Shop" - my Mom & Dad's favourite. I know Sion can make all the wood items himself, but always interesting to see what they've got and to buy a souvenir.
Then back to the Sedgefield Market to finish off the other side and just in case we missed anything the first time around.
Next on the agenda was a little stop at Timberlake's quaint stores and we are now all shopped out.
The rest of the afternoon and evening spent doing admin overlooking the beautifully peaceful river, spotting kingfishers and listening to owls and nightjars.
